Honda CEO Takanobu Ito revealed in the speech delivered in Japan on Comes to an end that the Acura RLX flagship high end sedan will make their public debut at the L.A. Car Show on November Twenty eight. The speech was known as the Mid-Year Speech plus included plans regarding upcoming models as well as production plans.

The particular RLX was shown throughout concept form (imagined) at the New York Vehicle Show in 04. Ito confirmed the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will be powered by a Sport Hybrid SH-AWD technique, which will also be discussed by the upcoming NSX fancy car. It will combine any 3.5-liter V6 gasoline serp and three high-output electric powered motors that will put the power down to the ground by means of all four wheels. In the RLX, it's expected to produce 370 horsepower, and likely more in the NSX.

The sedan is expected to reach a minimum of 30mpg in both the official city and highway examination cycles. While not established by Ito, earlier rumours have a less expensive, front-wheel-drive, 310-horsepower form of the RLX coming too. The transmission could be some sort of CVT, but a new seven-speed dual-clutch was also rumored.
More information on the RLX, including prices, more finalized tech specs, and a more concrete release date should be released at the conclusion of November. Thus far, the car is said to launch in 2013.
